I start at the end. Everyday.
In friendship, in love, in business, in creative acts, in matters of eternal consequence.
I ask these questions:
- What is left behind when I leave?
- What would I like to give to those I leave?
- Why will I leave?
- When will I leave?
- What will I take with me?
This is part of the High Calling Blogs prompt that I given for Friday's PhotoPlay. Please join in, by taking a photo that either captures or reminds you of a life lesson that you have recently learnt. Leave your link in my comment box by tonight and I will link back to on Friday, over at HCB.
This photo is also part of my 365 light project as well as my latest photo collection from our travels to the West Indian Island of Grenada. Click the links to see the other images that I have taken.

Claire, Thank you for the prompt. I had such a hard time deciding which memory and life lesson I would share. There are so many!
But finally I chose one, and only one image for it.
It is posted today here:

Such good questions, Claire. They take stock, challenge. I loved thinking of a lesson in a picture. Looking forward to seeing the fruit of this prompt!
Hi Claire,
This is a fun idea -- I saw your post over at HCB and was immediately intrigued. Here is my link:

It actually includes two photos -- both equally tell the story and lesson, which is this: embrace the messy to uncover hidden gifts!
Thanks for this opportunity!
Michelle

Wonderful idea...
these photos are amazing Claire! They could be from any time period. They make me feel like an adventure is on the way, or the meeting of two different worlds is about to take place.
Claire,
Thanks for this prompt. I've wanted to include more photos and reflections on my site--so this got me going in that direction again.

So, so good. (What came to mind is that Jesus was always asking questions to get at the heart of things. A good model, surely. :-)
what away to end each day ..the questions swirl in my mind ..your diptych calms me and points the way ...little by little
I really love the blurry one.
