quieten me
dying day
leave me begging
at doorstep
without welcome
dying day
stealing light
from ocean
giving to others
no longer in need
of night
dying day
i fight
flinging last energies
into never endings
dying day
may i die with you
only to be reborn
when light you again
reclaim?
i am tired. very tired. i feel the need to be cradled like a child. i want to curl up in fetal position and just sleep for a very long time.
do you ever feel the need to do this?
this photo is part of my 365 project.

Oh Claire, indeed I do.
Go light a fire, huddle next to your hubby, hold a hot cup of tea, and let go. Let go of all the stuff and anxiety and worry and work. Now take a deep breath. Exhale. Now that you have made room for God to embrace His weary daughter, rest fully in His love and light.
Blessings.
mmmm. love the poem. and yes i feel this way sometimes.
oh sweetie I do...
and if that's how you feel, then really do it !
just curl up and leave the world behind for a bit !
I love the idea of asking the day if you can die with it. Sad and sweet at the same time.
As to your last question. I definitely have bad days sometimes.

yes
I do know how and what you feel ... and all the more, so does He. Praying you would feel His encompassing embrace and know His rest.
need and do.
the image has
a presence
a quiet power
like being held in Love
Yes. I'm there with you, Claire. Rest, dear one. Just rest.
I so do Claire, I so do! I hope you find time to rest and nurture and refresh your lovely spirit and if a little curling in to a ball is what it takes then maybe that's what we need to gently grant ourselves? Although, I must admit, I like your dancing in the rain idea too!
Thank you for you. k
